Man-with-a-Camera is Rob Sidebottom.

I am an Amateur photographer working out of the wonderful Yorkshire city of Sheffield. On the edge of the Derbyshire Peak District.

I have been taking pictures ever since I had a camera. From an old medium format film camera when I was young to my first SLR - (a Zenit-E).

Later the purchase of an Olympus OM30 film camera in the 80's.

At the start of the millenium I like many people began to take advantage of the growth of camera phones and moved through many . With the improvement of technology many excellent images were produced however none had the sharpness, depth of field or abilities to create the images I would truly like.

In 2011 I obtained my first truly digital camera, a Fujifilm S1900 Bridge camera. This rekindled my love of photography and my images began to improve.

In 2013 I purchased my current camera, a Pentax K-30. A very competent pro/consumer camera, allowing me to explore some of the techniques and ideas to lift my images.

My main interest is in Landscape and Wall art but in recent years have branched out and so I am availble for Wedding, Portrait an Corporate events. (See my commisions pages)

As i build my portfolio I am willing to provide photographic services for a reasonable fee, please contact me for details.
